Business VPN

Two offices, one network — without a carrier private link

A site-to-site VPN joins your offices over the internet so the file server, printers and phone system at one site are reachable from the other as if they were down the hall. Remote-access VPN does the same for staff at home. Both need business routers, static IPs and someone who has set them up properly — which is where we come in.

  • Site-to-site between offices
  • Remote access for staff at home
  • Static IPs on business NBN make it stable
  • Managed with your firewall and network

Why choose us

Site-to-site

Encrypted tunnels between locations over your existing business connections.

Remote access

Staff reach internal systems from home with MFA, without exposing anything to the internet.

Stable addressing

The static IP on every business NBN plan is what keeps a VPN from falling over each time the carrier reissues an address.

Part of the network

Configured on the same business routers and firewalls we manage, with the phone system's traffic in mind.

When to step up

More than a few sites, or voice between them, and SD-WAN is the better tool. We will say so.

Frequently asked questions

VPN or SD-WAN — what is the difference?

A VPN is an encrypted tunnel between two points over the internet, and it is the right answer for two or three offices with decent links. SD-WAN puts an intelligent edge at each site that uses every link it has, fails over between them and prioritises voice — the right answer when sites have more than one connection, when call quality between sites matters, or when there are enough locations that tunnels have become a job.

Do your business internet plans include a static IP?

Every business NBN plan and every fixed fibre service comes with a static IP, which is what keeps VPNs, cameras, remote access and your phone system stable. Residential-grade NBN plans do not include one, and we do not sell static IPs on 4G/5G services.

Whatever you know — "an old on-prem PBX", "Telstra mobiles and no IT support", "not sure" is fine.
What is not working today, or what you are trying to achieve. A sentence or two is plenty.
