NBN for business

NBN plans picked for the address, with a static IP on every one

The NBN is five technologies wearing one name, and the right plan depends on which one reaches your door. We check the address, tell you what it can actually carry, and put in the tier that fits how you work — with a static IP included on every business plan and business support tiers on the plans that carry them.

  • Static IP on every business plan
  • Every technology — FTTP, HFC, FTTC, FTTN, fixed wireless
  • Bronze and Gold business support tiers
  • 4G/5G backup on the same bill

Business plans include a static IP. Bronze and Gold are business support tiers with prioritised fault restoration — we will tell you which your site needs. Residential plans suit home offices and do not include a static IP. Speeds are the NBN wholesale tier; the address decides what is available.

Why choose us

Checked before quoted

We run the address first. What the technology can carry decides the shortlist, not the brochure.

Static IP included

Every business plan has a static IP, so site-to-site VPNs, cameras, remote access and 3CX behave.

Business support tiers

Bronze and Gold tiers on the plans that carry them — prioritised fault restoration for sites that cannot wait days.

Sized to the work

A five-person office on the cloud is a different plan from a warehouse streaming cameras. We ask what runs on it.

Backup on the same bill

Add 4G or 5G backup and the phones keep ringing when the NBN does not.

Residential where it fits

Home offices and small sites can take a residential-grade plan — faster and cheaper, without the static IP.

Which technology is at your address

FTTP and HFC carry the fast tiers; FTTC and FTTN top out lower; fixed wireless has its own plans. If the address is stuck on an older technology, an NBN upgrade to FTTP is often free for a business ordering a high tier — we check eligibility as part of the quote.

When NBN is not enough

If you need matching upload and download, a service level with real teeth, or more than one site on a private network, look at fixed fibre. We will say so if that is the honest answer.

Frequently asked questions

Which internet connection does my business need?

It depends on the address and on what runs over the link. We check what the NBN can deliver to the premises first — the technology decides the ceiling — then ask what the business does on it. A small office on the cloud is usually a business NBN plan with a static IP and 4G backup; a site with cameras, backups or fifty people on the phones is usually fixed fibre. We tell you which, and why.

Do your business internet plans include a static IP?

Every business NBN plan and every fixed fibre service comes with a static IP, which is what keeps VPNs, cameras, remote access and your phone system stable. Residential-grade NBN plans do not include one, and we do not sell static IPs on 4G/5G services.

What happens to our phones if the internet goes down?

With 4G/5G backup on the router, the connection fails over within seconds and the phone system, EFTPOS and cloud apps carry on. Without it, a hosted phone system falls back to its own rules — ringing mobiles or taking messages — until the link returns. We recommend backup for any site where the phones matter.

What support do I get?

Unlimited support from our Adelaide-based team is included. Log a fault online, call us, or let a technician connect with our remote support client. Managed customers have 24/7 coverage.

Whatever you know — "an old on-prem PBX", "Telstra mobiles and no IT support", "not sure" is fine.
What is not working today, or what you are trying to achieve. A sentence or two is plenty.
